Context

Elements Arise is a game made by 4 third-year students from the engineering schools of Télécom SudParis and ENSIIE in France . It was made as a final year study project.

The power of the elements within drawing reach !
Elements Arise is a VR game where you play as a wizard able to use his precious scroll to solve puzzles and interact with the world !
Draw your spells from your fingertips, and take matters in your own hands by casting them on everything around you.
Wield the power of the fire, the water, the earth and the wind to find your way through the different levels. Fuse your spells to discover new elements, such as the Ice or the Thunder. Are you ready for the magical challenges ahead ?

Content

In the current version, the game consists of two levels, and a sandbox area. The levels and the sandbox can be accessed from the main menu.

How to play

The game is using the hand tracking of Meta. You can interact with the objects around you by grabbing them with your hands. In-game banners are present to teach the player about the different mechanics.
To move, the player needs to make a right angle between their thumb and index finger then use the guiding line to aim where they want to teleport.  If the line turns red, it means you can't teleport there. Once you selected a valid teleportation spot, pinch both your fingers to trigger the teleportation.
Pinching your left thumb and index finger while your palm is facing you will make three spheres appear to restart the level, go back to the main menu or quit the game. The same input makes them disappear if they are already present.
